St. Vincent de Paul Store (Vinnie’s Feel Good Shopping) is job searching for a “MANAGER of THRIFT STORE”.
  • Responsible for all aspects of employment for the staff as well as the volunteers, including scheduling, task assignments and performance reviews.
  • Ensure that all personnel are fully aware of their responsibilities by sharing their expectations with them.
  • Responsible for store operations including:
    1.  The layout of the stores
    2.  Managing store inventory to maximize sales
    3.  Arranging deliveries and pickups by store-owned truck
    4.  Assessing sales performance
    5.  Advertising of flash sales and similar events through Facebook and other social media
  • Responsible for some of the banking procedures, such as bank deposits and account reconciliations.
Requirements And Prerequisites:
  • Manage daily store routines and ensure they are carried out regularly and properly
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in store management
  • Knowledge of merchandising in a thrift store setting is an asset
  • Developed experience with excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Facebook, and Instagram.
Remuneration: $44,000 – $47,000 per year depending on experience
