St. Vincent de Paul Store (Vinnie’s Feel Good Shopping) is job searching for a “MANAGER of THRIFT STORE”.

Responsible for all aspects of employment for the staff as well as the volunteers, including scheduling, task assignments and performance reviews.

Ensure that all personnel are fully aware of their responsibilities by sharing their expectations with them.

Responsible for store operations including:

The layout of the stores
-
Managing store inventory to maximize sales

Arranging deliveries and pickups by store-owned truck
-
Assessing sales performance
-
Advertising of flash sales and similar events through Facebook and other social media
-
Responsible for some of the banking procedures, such as bank deposits and account reconciliations.
Requirements And Prerequisites:
-
Manage daily store routines and ensure they are carried out regularly and properly
-
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in store management
-
Knowledge of merchandising in a thrift store setting is an asset
-
Developed experience with excellent customer service.

Knowledge of basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Facebook, and Instagram.
Remuneration: $44,000 – $47,000 per year depending on experience
